Halsey, Evan Peters, manifestation: Willing things into existence can be effective

Reports of pop singer Halsey manifesting her new relationship with Evan Peters have been everywhere. Between press for Halsey’s new album “Manic” and new photos of Peters posted on her Instagram, fans have ranted and raved about the cosmos aligning for their relationship to manifest.

Back in 2012, Halsey, an up-and-coming singer, tweeted of her crush on the “American Horror Story” actor, writing, “Petition for Evan Peters to date me” and “I just want cookies and Evan Peters.”

Fast forward to October 2019 and the two became official and are going strong. They even wore matching Halloween costumes, posting photos of the iconic Sonny & Cher renditions online. Twitter fans have noted that Halsey called her current relationship into existence through her tweets. Her crush on the actor worked in her favor when they began dating last year.

Some believe that manifestation is simply desiring something and receiving it, especially in Halsey’s case.

Halsey is known for her beauty, unique style and sassy, yet unapologetic lyrics. But she is also known for being the one half of power couple relationships, as seen in her past relationships with rapper G-Eazy, singer YungBlud and now actor Peters. Some have wondered how Halsey became linked to these popular icons.

Is Halsey a powerful manifestor who spoke her current relationship into existence? I think not. I’m rooting for Peters and Halsey. But, between her recent breakup with Yungblud and her past link to rapper G-Eazy, it’s safe to say she has an A-list dating history that spans short time lines.

Although Halsey may have had a crush on Peters for years, they run in the same circles and their eventual meeting was bound to happen. Halsey is also one of the hottest stars right now and can have her pick of whoever she wants to date.

It seems like other celebrities like Kate Middleton and Hailey Bieber may have manifested their marriages to their husbands. Reports alluded to young Middleton having posters of Prince William in her childhood bedroom, and he has teased in interviews that she was excited to attend the same university as him where they met. Talk about intentional!

Similarly Hailey Bieber, previously Baldwin, reportedly used to tweet about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez and was a stan way before Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber were linked. Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber’s first meeting was even recorded on video.

Oprah Winfrey says to manifest something, you must meet that vibration. You must believe that you will get the object of your desire, and then shift your focus elsewhere, as to not fixate on that desire. For something to manifest, it comes to fruition after much wishing and mental energy pushing for that event or theory to come true.

This is most often seen with love, but also occurs with career success or finding the perfect home. It is, simply put, when the stars align and everything works itself out. This cosmic belief is derived from the popular theory, the law of attraction. This law states that we attract the energy to us that we put out into the world.

With manifestation, it is as if the thoughts you create, create the outcome in the world you desire. This new thought philosophy is the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life.

I have had my own experience with the law of attraction and manifestation.

When I was 17 years old, I went on a summer vacation to Canada and met someone who changed my life. We became quick friends and I never forgot him. Unlike anyone else I had met while traveling, he and I had a true connection. After that summer, I thought I’d never see him again. But I wished on a shooting star to see him once more, and in first year of college we met up on a rainy day in Manhattan.

One day, 3 years later, I was walking to class when a mutual friend from that summer vacation texted me. I instantly knew it was about him. The friend said he had been walking on the streets of New York and looked up and saw him sporadically.

In the months following, I thought about how things could have been different and once more wished to hear from him again. A few months later, I looked at my phone and received a message from him, explaining how that chance encounter on the streets of New York with our mutual friend made him think of me.

By being intentional and persistent, it is more likely to manifest the reality we so desire. But manifestation comes from believing you are worthy of what you truly yearn for.
