On April 15, RU Breaks, the Bboy student organization at Rutgers, hosted RUTHLESS XI at Red Lion Cafe in the Rutgers Student Center on the College Avenue campus. The event consisted of 2v2 breaking among several participants and a free workshop from Jeremy Havikoro, president of Break Free Worldwide.

On April 13, LLEGO: The LGBTQQIA People of Color Organization at Rutgers held Queer Ball for the Ages at the Rutgers Student Center on the College Avenue campus. The event included dancing, voguing and live music and performances. All proceeds went toward the Hyacinth AIDS Foundation.

On April 19, members of The Daily Targum and WRSU Radio Station met up for a game of basketball at Jersey Mike’s Arena on Livingston campus. It was the second annual match of the rebooted classic between the two teams.

On April 10, the first teaching strike in Rutgers’ 257-year history launched, spreading picket lines across all three University campuses. The strike was suspended on April 15 when the University and the three unions — the Rutgers American Association of University Professors and American Federation of Teachers (AAUP-AFT), the Rutgers Adjunct Faculty Union (PTLFC) and the American Association of University Professors at the Biomedical and Health Sciences of New Jersey (AAUP–BHSNJ) — issued announcements that they had agreed upon a framework. Though the strike is currently suspended, no contracts have been signed. Organizers and demonstrators continue to rally across campuses.

On April 14, Rutgers Students for Justice in Palestine held an emergency protest at Brower Commons on the College Avenue campus. This was organized in response to the recent attacks on worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Protestors organized outside, some holding signs saying, “Hands off Al-Aqsa Mosque” and “Stealing land makes you a thief. Not a partner for peace.” They also chanted, “Long live Palestine” and “Free, free Palestine.” Attacks on mosques in Palestine have repeatedly occurred during the holy month of Ramadan over the past several years.

On March 25, the Rutgers-affiliated radio station 90.3 The Core organized and presented its annual music festival, Corefest, at the Rutgers Student Center on the College Avenue campus.

On March 4, Rutgers University Twese held its 32nd annual fashion show called SOLARIS: A Twese Odyssey at the College Avenue Student Center. The event hosted many designers whose pieces were worn on the runway by several student models as well as many vendors who tabled outside the main show.

On March 20, Candace Owens — a Conservative political commentator, talk show host and author — came to Rutgers University and spoke at the Douglass Student Center as part of Turning Point USA's Live Free Tour. Protestors organized outside the venue, some holding signs saying, "Trans Lives Matter" and "Death to Fascism." The groups also chanted, "Nazi scum off our streets," and "Say it loud, say it clear, nazis are not welcome here." Turning Point USA is a non-profit Conservative organization founded by Charlie Kirk. Each semester, the organization hosts the Live Free Tour, a speaker circuit across various college campuses all over the country. Owens previously visited Rutgers in October 2018 alongside Kirk to speak at the Campus Clash event hosted by the organization.

On November 15, the Rutgers Ballroom club hosted a Great Gatsby-themed social at the College Avenue Gymnasium. There was a swing dancing and fox trot lesson instructed by Michael Salvadore, followed by a formal which featured music by DJ Slair.

On November 3, the Rutgers Salsa Club held a Salsa Night in collaboration with the Graduate Student Association. The night started with a small dance lesson and was followed by a social with an open dance floor.

On October 20, The Rutgers University Programming Association hosted their 14th Annual Homecoming Bed Races. Students faced off against each other and raced their beds down Sicard Street. Winners had the chance to receive trophies and programming funds.
