Between Saturday at 11:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:30 a.m., a burglary was reported to have taken place in the Rutgers University Computing Research & Education Building (CoRE) on Busch campus, according to a University-wide email.

The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) revealed that property was taken out of various computer labs in the building and asks anyone with information to contact the Detective Bureau.

The perpetrator is said to be a 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-3 thin white male with blonde hair, who looked to be approximately 25 to 30 years old and wore a blue mask, pink sweatshirt, dark jeans and sneakers at the time of the incident.

The RUPD also reminds students to take safety measures, including never leaving their items unattended, securing their living and working spaces when unoccupied and avoiding propping open building doors.
