RUPD investigates 3 vehicles stolen from Livingston campus

The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) is currently investigating the theft of three vehicles that occurred yesterday on Livingston campus, according to a University-wide email.

The three vehicles were parked in the Yellow Lot and were reportedly removed from the premises between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. So far, one of the vehicles has been recovered by local law enforcement.

The RUPD requests that any individual with information regarding the theft and its perpetrators or who may have been in the area at the time contact its detective bureau, according to the email.

Additionally, the RUPD cautions individuals to keep their vehicles locked, keep valuables inside their vehicles out of plain view and avoid isolated areas.
