RUPD investigates burglary at Ruth Adams Building

The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) is investigating a burglary that occurred between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday in the Ruth Adams Building on Douglass campus, according to a University-wide email.

In the incident, the perpetrator forced their way into several secured offices and took items of value, according to the email. The offices were unoccupied.

Anyone with information regarding the burglary or who was around at the time should contact the RUPD.

The RUPD reminded students to keep their valuables attended or secured, avoid propping exterior doors open and report suspicious activity to the police. Escorts are also available to members of the Rutgers community by request.
