2 Rutgers residence halls burglarized

Items of value were stolen from Clothier and Campbell residence halls on the College Avenue campus Saturday night, said University spokesperson E.J. Miranda.

"The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) is investigating two incidents of theft that occurred sometime last night in two residence halls," he said in an email. "One occurred in Clothier Hall and the other in Campbell Hall."

In both instances, the residents were out of their rooms and left their doors unlocked. Miranda said that upon their return, each realized some items of value were missing.

While a Facebook post in the Rutgers University Class of 2019 (Official) page indicated that Hardenbergh Hall had also been burglarized, there were no reported thefts from that building, Miranda said.
